How it Works
The gallery presents 5–8 exhibitions each academic year, spanning September through May. Exhibitions are selected 12–24 months in advance. Exhibitions are selected from outside proposals representing local, national and international artists. The last exhibition of the year is reserved for the annual Senior Juried Art Exhibition, which showcases the talent and work of the St. Kate's graduating studio art majors.
The Gallery Committee reviews all exhibition proposals on a bi-annual basis. Artists receive feedback about their proposals within 2–3 months of submission. If selected for an exhibition, high-resolution images (300dpi) will be requested.
Exhibition proposals should include the following information:
- A letter of introduction stating intent
- Resume or CV
- Artist Statement
- 10–15 digital images (jpeg format, 72 dpi, 600 pixels in longest direction)
- Image list (title, date, medium and dimensions)
- Contact information including a phone number and email address
